finally a professional time - wednesday 7th april 2004 - 13:30 - neil
at last, alex has managed to get himself a professional time. it's been a long time coming but he finally conquered steep corner today. nice one!
a new driver for mandom radness - wednesday 24th march 2004 - 12:45 - alex
after shunning elasto mania, andy has decide that it isn't as bad as it first looked and has since gone on to ignore his university work; instead play elma. he may have only completed thirteen levels at the moment but we are expected big things from him. keep höyling!
i've been doing a little work - monday 8th march 2004 - 14:45 - neil
yes, we're not dead over here at mandom madness hq but things have been a little slow on the elma front (mainly due to other work and getting frustrated about not being able to improve any times!). i've done some work on the site and i think i've fixed the remaining bugs with submission and british record stats in general so hopefully it's all going to work fine. have fun...
new british record for mandom radness - monday 6th october 2003 - 00:15 - neil
ok, so it's been a while since there's been an update but i thought this was worth mentioning. congrats go to rob for getting a british record and world class time on curvaceous! that's two british records that mandom radness have had in their life. at least it's more than most teams! well done rob!
new leader for mandom radness - thursday 3rd july 2003 - 23:45 - neil
i've been a bit slack with the news recently but rob has moved 10 seconds ahead of alex in total time. at the moment, mandom radness are the 100th best team in the world. there haven't been many updates from people in the team recently but hopefully that'll gradually change as people come back to elma. well done rob and keep up the good work. bye...
100th team in the world! - thursday 12th june 2003 - 10:15 - neil
mandom radness have finally done it. we're on the top 100 teams list for the first time as of today. congratulations everyone and keep up the good work. it won't be long before we're working our way up that list and who knows maybe one day we might even reach 90th? woohoo!
i'm watching... - monday 9th june 2003 - 23:15 - neil
i'm back in front of a computer now and i've updated the world records for this week (see, the system is so good i can even update things when i'm away!). i can see that alex and rob are fighting over various times and, as usual, i'm impressed by what i see. keep up the good work guys and we'll make the top 100 teams list in no time (hopefully we're already there but you never can tell)... have fun!
record duration - wednesday 28th may 2003 - 00:15 - neil
i've noticed that there are five records that haven't been beaten since we started keeping record changes logged so i whipped up a little page to show how long each record has been held for, with the oldest at the top. hopefully this will show where we're getting held up (although it'll probably lose me my five records but...)! keep up with the time improvements and the team will be top 100 before we know it! have fun...
so, he finally did it... - sunday 25th may 2003 - 12:45 - neil
i'm not sure how long he must have been höyling for (or how many times he deleted elma before it finally happened) but alex has improved his apple harvest time and is back in what he considers to be his 'rightful place'. well done mate!
what??? world class!!! - saturday 24th may 2003 - 01:15 - alex
there was a resounding chorus of move your feet by junior senior around mandom radness headquarters at 02:14 this morning. the reason being that neil had not only improved his warm up time again, but in the process of doing so had achieved a world class rating for his time. now, we all thought that getting a professional time was good... this is on a whole different level!!! so, mandom radness have their first world class time and hopefully it won't be that long before they get another. the thing is though neil, you're not top 100 on warm up, so what are you doing wasting time reading this... get back in there!!!
new members! - wednesday 21st may 2003 - 13:15 - neil
as of today mandom radness has two new members. elliot and duff join us for some big team höyling madness. let battle commence!
a new leader for mr - friday 16th may 2003 - 02:15 - alex
and so it has come to pass that python is no longer the top-dog in team mandom radness, that crown has been stolen away from him by lemonjelly. with a couple of weeks careful höyling rob has managed to take about seventeen minutes off of his total time. do not fear though... for when the time is right the python will strike and his crown and all his records will be back where they rightfully belong! for now though, all hail lemonjelly! we're not worthy!
rob is an ok driver! - sunday 11th may 2003 - 13:15 - neil
all members of mandom radness have now achieved ok driver status! rob's also steamed past me in total time and is now hot on the heels of alex... unfortunately rob didn't get the british record that we thought he might have got but there's plenty more levels to höyl. keep up the good work team!
rate some levels! - friday 2nd may 2003 - 16:45 - neil
want to let others know what you think of a particular level? then go over to the level ratings page and rate them out of five!
big news! - friday 2nd may 2003 - 15:15 - neil
rob has just posted a quality fruit in the den time, that's the team's first professional time and with any luck it should be a new british record when moposite is updated on sunday. well done mate!
rob is sub an hour - wednesday 30th april 2003 - 23:15 - neil
he's done it. three days careful höyling and he's there! well done mate... i'll be eating your dust in no time...
guestbook and ok! - monday 28th april 2003 - 19:00 - neil
no, not the magazine but an ok driver for mandom radness. alex broke 108 stars yesterday (he's been bugging me to add some news about it since he did it). i've also added a guestbook so people will hopefully sign it and let us know that they're here! in other news, rob's still improving his times and it probably won't be long before he overtakes me!
improvements and stuff - saturday 26th april 2003 - 10:30 - neil
rob uploaded! very nice apple harvest time... i've also added another page 'improvements'. the page ranks your differences from records or the next rating. it was made so people can try to cut off the most time or get more stars! enjoy...
about time too! - monday 21st april 2003 - 03:00 - alex
it's finally happened, there has been a landmark for team mandom radness today. neil has been the first member of the team to achieve a national record. he has taken the british hangman record with an amazing run, and further topped his achievements by finally subbing one hour.
new filters on record changes! - saturday 12th april 2003 - 18:30 - neil
in addition to the other new features you're just getting used to i've ploughed on and introduced two new filters today. so, in addition to being able to only view the last 25 or so items you can now view only a certain drivers record changes or only a certain levels record changes! also, can i just say in addition to the storming work of alex in getting sub one hour rob has also gradually been ploughing through his time. keep up the good work!
sub one hour - saturday 12th april 2003 - 00:15 - neil
big news... alex just became the first member of mandom radness to go sub one hour. i thought that maybe i could manage it but no, i didn't get there in time! well done alex!
another new feature - friday 11th april 2003 - 20:30 - neil
we have a brand spanking new feature, compare drivers! it allows you to compare two drivers head-to-head (as the title cunningly suggests). i guess we could probably use it in the race for a total time less than an hour (which alex is currently winning). also, kudos to alex for some of his times recently... it's good to see there's some tasty competition going on out there!
more stuff - tuesday 8th april 2003 - 12:30 - neil
not much to report, mainly i've been working on things that you won't see. i've been tidying the php code although i've introduced a kind of driver overview on the drivers page. that's all...
things and stuff - friday 4th april 2003 - 13:15 - neil
i've been busy adding a nice new feature called 'record changes' which is there to tell us when someone has submitted a new time (since better times are getting more and more infrequent now!). i've also updated the british record comparison thing to be more accurate and shiny! so, go enjoy...
mandom radness strikes! - thursday 3rd april 2003 - 00:30 - neil
alex and i both decided it was time for us to submit our times and let the world see what we are capable (or incapable) of achieving. so they're over on moposite. i'm quite pleased with the result!
this is it! - saturday 22nd march 2003 - 22:15 - neil
the elasto mania stuff has finally moved across to elma.ninjakoala.com, where it will be staying for the forseeable future. enjoy!
